This is her story...... May 1, To the world, I am Ebbie Catherine Sullivan. I dont know if anyone will ever read this but still, I am going to write and hope my words will one day reach the world. I was born in 1927 in a place called Charity Junction. Its just a spit on the map, not bigger than a gnats butt. The “spit on the map” is located in southern Alabama, not all that far from a place called Montgomery. Those who dont hail from the South will probably not understand that term, but as the old saying goes: “it aint very big”. As a matter of fact, Charity Junction boasts a population of 600 people and that includes the dead and the living, 1939 them thats alive and them thats a “resting” or “turning fitfully” in the graves at Pine Mountain Cemetery and Charity Junction Resting Place.
